Ellenborough Table Tennis Club
Code of Conduct
Ellenborough Table Tennis Club – Code of Conduct Ellenborough TTC’s current rules, which are displayed at the Club, have reference to conduct / behaviour and possible expulsion.
For clarity, this is explained as follows:-
All members are expected to respect the rights, dignity and worth of anyone they meet within our sport; treat everyone equally regardless of age, ability, gender, race, religion, ethnic origin, social status or sexual orientation; accept that everyone has the right to be protected from abuse.
• Bullying (verbal and physical) within the club will not be tolerated under any circumstances this includes use of social media and texting.
• Inappropriate language should never be used.
• Always change in the appropriate changing rooms and not in the playing hall. If there is any case of misconduct, this should be reported in writing to the Committee who will try to resolve the matter swiftly.
If members fail to abide by our Code of Conduct and after being given a written warning, the offender may be excluded from the club for a period to be determined by the committee.
This expected level of good behaviour should also be followed whilst representing ETTC in League matches and other competitions.
